The following five images are shots I did for a recent Stranger spread. The story is about an alleged case of a land-lady who was supplying rooms in her apartment block in exchange for drugs. By the time I got on the scene this is what it looked like; locks put on doors by residents and signs in the windows by the Seattle Police. Even though the Police had come in and done a few checks on the place, they obviously omitted to do a cursary check of the outside of the building, which revealed a bread-crumb trail of needles, syringes, meth tubes and other drug paraphenalia leading from the building to the park opposite the building.

July 2006 Seattle WA USA.

The following images are updates from various Stranger shoots I have done in the last few weeks. "Worst President Ever" from a story on a relatively new democrat player Darcy Burner (D), who was using an anti-Bush rally to leap frog herself into the limelight. Personally I think the Bobbleheads shown here, were much more of a draw on the day. |NEXT| Mayor Greg Nickels is clamping down on noise in the downtown and urban areas of Seattle, however, the bars -in many cases- were there before the condo's Image shows Pete Hanning of the Red Door a popular bar in the center of Freemont who is one of the bar owners under scrutiny. |NEXT| My first shoot for the Stranger, shows Jamie Pedersen (D), who was embarking on a journey to the senate. Pedersen represents a growing number of conservative and wealthy segment of the Seattle gay population. |NEXT| A defiant Cary Moon takes the Mayor to task regarding some research on the Viaduct fiasco, in which Mayor Nickels who has whipped up strong support for his tunnel proposal is unwaving in his belief that its the best way to go. Moon however wants to see the waterfront opened up.
